Day 1: Guwahati to Dirang (The Climb)
The Journey: Depart early from Guwahati in your 4x4. The drive moves quickly from the plains of Assam into the winding mountain roads of Arunachal Pradesh, passing Bomdila before arriving in the serene valley of Dirang.
Key Attraction: Thupsung Dhargye Ling Buddhist Monastery – A magnificent temple complex perched above the town. The grand structure offers panoramic views of the entire Dirang valley, serving as a perfect introduction to the region's spiritual heritage and peaceful atmosphere.

Day 2: Dirang to Tawang via Sela Pass (The High Passes)
The Journey: An early morning departure to navigate the high altitudes. The 4x4 climbs through winding mountain roads to reach Tawang, revealing incredible views of snow-capped peaks.
Key Attractions:
Sela Pass – A dramatic high-altitude pass sitting at 13,700 feet. You will stop here to witness the breathtaking, sacred Sela Lake, which is often framed by crisp snow and misty peaks.
Tawang Monastery – The second-largest Buddhist monastery in the world. Dominating the Tawang skyline like a fortress, this 17th-century landmark houses massive golden statues, invaluable scriptures, and vibrant prayer halls.

Day 3: The Northern Frontier & Descent to Jang (The Glacial Lakes)
The Journey: Head north toward the international border, navigating rocky high-altitude tracks where the capability of a 4x4 becomes essential. After exploring, descend back toward the town of Jang.

Bumla Pass – Positioned at a staggering 15,200 feet along the Indo-China border. A place of deep historic importance, it offers wide, stark views of the Tibetan plateau.
Sungester Lake (Madhuri Lake) – Formed by a massive earthquake in 1950, this glacial lake is famous for the stark, dead tree trunks rising straight out of its calm waters.

The Journey: This is the mechanical highlight of the trip—a true test of a 4x4 vehicle. You will push deep into the untouched, highly restricted eastern frontier along rough, unpaved tracks, climbing rocky passes to discover remote valleys before descending down to the quiet fields of Sangti.
Key Attractions:
Mago & Chuna Valley – Completely raw, alpine territory far away from conventional tourist routes. This area features rushing glacial streams, dense forests, and massive rocky valleys.

Day 5: Sangti Valley to Guwahati via Shergaon (The Forest Return)
